A gameplay guide for Philippine readers

phpgames Bubble Up: Frames, Free Spins & How to Play

Bubble Up! is an underwater slot with a 6×6 grid, 40 paylines and a separate frame-collection feature. Matching sea creatures can pay on a line, while bubble frames collect blowfish money symbols inside their borders. This phpgames bubble up guide explains those two kinds of wins, overlapping frames, bonus modifiers and the cost of optional features.

Read the lines, then the frames

A large grid does not make this a cluster-pays game. Start by checking the winning line, then look at the frame boundary and any overlapping area. The final counter brings the completed awards together.

Forty paylines across six reels

How to play Bubble Up: follow one completed spin

Open the paytable to identify the 40 line paths. Ordinary wins use matching sea creatures across consecutive reels from the left, with qualifying combinations of three to six symbols. Fish, seahorses, shrimp, shells and starfish belong to this symbol set. There are no Wild substitutes, so do not treat a pearl Scatter or a blowfish money symbol as a missing ordinary symbol.

Before spinning, confirm the total stake and selected mode. After the reels stop, watch any line award, frame collection and bonus transition through to completion. Money symbols can show values without producing a collection if no qualifying frame covers them. A bright symbol on its own is not the same as a paid result.

  1. Check the stake. Read the currency and total cost, including any active Ante Bet.
  2. Identify the result. Separate a matching payline from money symbols inside a frame.
  3. Inspect the overlap. Check which positions receive a multiplier rather than applying it to the whole screen.
  4. Wait for the final total. Use the completed round record if the animations are difficult to follow.

Six mechanics to recognise

How bubble frames collect and multiply money symbols

The frame border, the value on each blowfish and the overlap marker do different jobs. Follow them in that order. In Free Spins, also check the minimum frame size and remaining-spin counter before interpreting an upgrade.

1. A frame sets the collection area

Frames can range from 2×2 to the full 6×6 grid. Eligible money symbols inside a frame are collected. A symbol outside the border is not included merely because it is next to a collected symbol.

2. Overlap changes covered values

Two frames can appear together. Money symbols in their shared area can receive a 2×–10× multiplier before collection. The overlap effect applies to those positions, not automatically to every symbol in either frame.

3. Read the money-symbol label

Ordinary blowfish values range from 0.5×–15× stake. Mini, Minor, Major and Grand values are 20×, 40×, 80× and 200×. Maxi can range from 400×–10,000×; its name alone does not mean a maximum award.

4. Scatters open Free Spins

In standard play, 3, 4, 5 or 6 pearl Scatters trigger six starting Free Spins with 1, 2, 3 or 4 modifiers respectively. More triggering Scatters increase the modifier allowance; they do not change that initial six-spin count.

5. Modifiers change the bonus setup

The four modifier types add money symbols, add Scatters, start with a larger 3×3 minimum frame, or guarantee two frames per spin. A pre-bonus coin-picking stage reveals the awarded modifiers. Check the result panel before the first free spin.

6. Scatters grow the frame

A frame is guaranteed on each free spin. Collecting each set of three Scatters upgrades the minimum frame one level and adds two spins, progressing towards 6×6. An earned upgrade applies from the next free spin.

Connect the rules with the counters

Free Spins and overlapping frames: worked examples

Suppose four pearl Scatters land in standard play. The bonus begins with six Free Spins and two modifier awards. The picking stage uses eight coins; matching modifier reveals determine the awards. When the round starts, read the modifier panel, minimum frame size and spin count together. Choosing a coin reveals a feature outcome; it does not give you control over future reel results.

For a frame-growth example, start with a 2×2 minimum frame and imagine collecting three Scatters during the bonus. The minimum grows to 3×3 for the next free spin and two extra spins are awarded. If three spins remained immediately before that addition, the counter becomes five. Continue to follow the displayed meter as the minimum grows through 4×4 and 5×5 towards 6×6.

A simple overlap calculation

A money symbol displaying 2× stake sits in the overlap and receives a 4× multiplier. Its adjusted value is 8× stake. At an illustrative ₱5 stake, that is ₱40 for that value calculation. A separate 1× symbol outside the overlap keeps its 1× value; it does not become 4× just because two frames are present.

These are invented examples for reading the rules. They are not a complete round payout or a prediction. Check the collection animation and final award, including any game cap, instead of adding a symbol twice because it lies inside two borders.

Compare the mode as well as the price

Ante Bet, Super Spins and Bonus Buy costs in pesos

Optional feature controls depend on the version and region. An Ante Bet costs 1.5× the base stake and increases the modifier allowance when Free Spins trigger. Super Spin 1 costs 20× for one randomly sized base-game frame; Super Spin 2 costs 100× for two. Neither Super Spin can trigger the Free Spins bonus.

A separate Free Spins purchase costs 100× the base stake. Although that matches Super Spin 2’s price, the two options deliver different features. Read the selected mode and confirmation screen before paying. A frame or bonus entry does not guarantee an award that covers its cost.

Illustrative costs at a ₱2 base stake

  • Ante Bet: 1.5 × ₱2 = ₱3 for the spin.
  • Super Spin 1: 20 × ₱2 = ₱40.
  • Super Spin 2: 100 × ₱2 = ₱200.
  • Free Spins purchase: 100 × ₱2 = ₱200.

These figures demonstrate multiplication, not an available minimum or a recommended budget. A ₱200 purchase returning ₱150 produces a ₱50 net loss. The amount returned and the profit after the cost are different numbers.

Demo and mobile checks

A demo, where offered, can help you spot frame borders and follow upgrades using virtual credits. Those credits cannot be withdrawn, and practice results do not forecast later wins. On a phone, keep the stake and mode label readable. If a connection drops, check the round history before repeating an action.

What the percentages describe

Read RTP and volatility without predicting a session

At the 96.52% setting, the theoretical house edge is 3.48%. RTP is a long-run average across many wagers, not the amount an individual session must return. The 95.55% and 94.51% settings have different expected returns, so read the version’s information screen instead of assuming the highest setting is active.

Medium volatility does not mean regular profit or protection from a large loss. A hit-frequency statistic counts qualifying wins, which may be smaller than the stake. It cannot tell you when your next frame or bonus will arrive. Treat the 10,000× maximum as a limit, not a result you are working towards by continuing to spin.

Eligibility, privacy and stopping points

Keep play within personal limits

For PAGCOR-regulated gambling, people under 21 and other restricted categories cannot participate. The footer’s 18+ content notice does not establish gambling eligibility. Set an end time and a spending limit, keep essential money separate and avoid chasing losses. A nearly completed upgrade meter is not a reason to exceed either limit.

For account information, use the phpgames login guide and read the privacy policy and terms and conditions. Keep passwords and one-time codes private. If gambling affects sleep, work or finances, stop and consult the responsible gaming guidance for support options.

phpgames Bubble Up: common gameplay questions

Is phpgames Bubble Up a cluster-pays game?

No. Ordinary symbol wins follow 40 paylines across the 6×6 grid. Money-symbol collection inside bubble frames is a separate feature.

Does every money symbol on the screen pay?

No. The frame-collection feature awards eligible money symbols inside its borders. A visible value outside the collection area is not automatically an award.

Do more Scatters give more starting Free Spins?

In standard play, three to six triggering Scatters all award six initial Free Spins. The modifier allowance increases with the number of triggering Scatters.

Can I play a demo or buy a bonus here?

No. This page is a gameplay guide. It does not contain a playable demo or purchase controls, and it does not confirm game availability on a particular account.
